The process of teaching and learning has taken a great time of specialists in order to make it more effective and attractive. Several initiatives are being worked. A special feature is the use of new technologies such as computing. In this context, the teaching of basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) has not undergone major changes in their process of education in recent years, even as it’s a simple and basic content. And therefore it is an investigation if new teaching models have positive influence on learning. Thus the computing and Virtual Reality (VR) may be of great help, as it is defined as the most advanced user interface with the computer until now available. This work aims at the creation of virtual environments, in the form of educational game to help the process of teaching and learning the four basic operations of mathematics. This work is justified on the basis of literature that shows a lack of educational software using Virtual Reality.
